Our team member Sanja Spasovska participated in the last few FIS World Cup races achieving some amazing results in GS and slalom races.
At the last giant slalom race in Switzerland she placed 24th which is the first top 25 result for our country ever.
She began the 22/23 season strong in Carezza, Italy with a 32 place and then improving the ranking in every next race, 30th in Cortina, 26th in Bad Gastain and 24th in Scoul.. Considering the challenging conditions this winter and the lack of training on snow it’s a great success to even put the runs down.

Bio
Sanja started snowboarding at 11 years of age and since then never stopped dreaming of taking part in the Olympics and representing our country. She started competing few years later achieving great results at the regional FIS competitions and became the National Champion in alpine snowboarding which allowed her to take part and represent Macedonia on the World Cup stage.
Currently she is halfway at securing a spot in the Olympics Milano Cortina 2026, so the next goal is to collect the points needed for qualifying.
She has the Nationals championships and the FIS races on the balkans next while in the meantime chasing some fresh powder and guiding groups with Sharoutdoors.

We are wishing her best of luck in the next races and the World Championships and hopefully a first ever qualification in the Olympics for a Macedonian rider.
