A trail for those who want to enjoy the oldest and strictly protected forests in the National Park Galicica, the rich flora and fauna, the history of the First World War, combined with the view from the highest peak Magaro that will take your breath away.

This excursion begins with a private transfer from the place where you are accommodated to the Rescue Station of the Red Cross in Ohrid, where our walk begins. The first forty minutes we will move through the woodlands where we will enjoy the beautiful deep shade of the forest. There’s a short heavier part of this trail where we will move through the rocky part, who are remains of ice age period. In the next part of our walk we will enjoy the beautiful panoramas, landscapes of Ohrid, Prespa lake and the plains which extends from the other side of National Park Galicica, particularly in neighbouring Albania. Near the top we will hear something about the First World War, Eastern Front, the life of local population in that period and for those who enjoy exploring and want to go home from this place with a photo of a souvenir such as a bullet, glass, etc., this area is the right place. At the end, after the beautiful rest on top we should go down from where we start.
