Lost or Damaged Equipment
BOOKINGPOLICY 30% deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remainder due to 40 days prior tothe arrival date. If your request for arrival is lesser than 40 days we request full payment in advance. Use the form bellow to request a quote, or request additional information regarding our availability. As soon as you are ready to finalise your booking we require a 30% deposit and we will handle payment, which can be transferred via bank transfer. Due to current situation with COVID-19 we have updated our cancellation / refund policy related to it.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have brought up revised cancellation/refund policy suitable to cover possible obstacles for realizing an already booked tour. We have therefore updated our booking T&C for the upcoming season to provide our clients with maximum peace of mind. We have included two options specific to COVID related cancellations. More than 40 days prior to your arrival date: We will gladly hold and apply your deposit to a future booking. So if you do not wish to transfer the deposit, we will offer a refund if we are able to find another group or individual to fill the booking. Otherwise your deposit remains non-refundable. Less than 40 days prior your arrival date: Full payments made are trasnferable 50% refundable. The transfers of the deposit is valid for the current or the following season.
We cannot offer refunds for missed reservations, early departures, turbulent weather/extreme avalanche danger, snow conditions, or force majeure events beyond COVID – 19 pandemic, and are not responsible for additional expenses incurred in prepparing the trip (e.g. airline tickets visa aplications fees, equipment purchases etc.)
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time due to unsettling political, social or envioremental events, at which time we will offer a refund of all payments made less the deposit.
Our guides have the right to change the program or cancel due to unexpected conditions in order to provide maximum safety for the group. All participants should be reasonably fit and must have proper equipment for avalanche rescue: ABS Avalanche backpack or similar, probe, shovel, and transceiver. It will be provided by Sharoutdoors at no additional cost.
As mentioned in the tours description we can provide you the necessary equipment for accomplishing the adventure tours, equipment such as, skis, snowboards, ski crampons, boot crampons, skins, snowshoes, boots, e-bikes, helmets, avalanche transceivers, shovel, probe, avalanche airbags, ski poles, ski clothing and etc.
This equipment can be included according to the tour package or it can be rented at additional costs.
Normal use wear is expected and basic maintenance is included in your rental fee. This includes small rips or damages that can be easily repaired. In more extreme cases, additional repair fees will be applied based on the degree of destruction and the item’s value at the given time.
If an item is lost or stolen during the rental period, the renter is fully responsible for compensating SharOutdoors for the loss by covering the cost of purchasing a new, replacement item.
